I thought it interesting how a critical moment in Christianity occured in 312 A.D. when the Roman emperor Constatine was fighting three rivals for the leadership of Rome.

I thought it was interesting that when Constantine prayed for divine help, he saw an image of a cross and then ordered the artisans to put that Christian symbol on his soldiers' shield.

I thought it was interesting when it talked about Jesus' death. It stated that "After Jesus' death, his body was placed in a tomb. According to the Gospels, three days later his body was gone, and a living Jesus began appering to his followers."

I thought it was interesting how the book mentioned that Jesus's teachings were spread "slowly but steadily" because of Pax Romana, which allowed for safe travel and exchange of ideas. Also, because Latin and Greek were the common languages, the message could be easily understood!!!
I found it really interesting that Chrisianity made it's most significant movements during such troubled times. During this time wars were being sieged, the economy was unstable for some parts of the region, and many governmet issues caused political brawls.

I found it interesting that Constantine ordered that a cross be put on the soldiers shield, then credited his success to the Christian God.

I found it interesting that the apostle Paul was at first one of Jesus' greatest enemys until he had a vision of Jesus then began going around teaching everyone Jesus' interpretations

I think it is interesting how as the Pax Romana started to fall to the ground more and more Christians were persecuted for refusal to worship Roman gods. They were crucified, burned, or killed by wild animals in circus arenas.

I thought it was interesting how the Jewish believed that Jesus was the Messiah. I wonder how he felt about that. Jesus really had some great teachings, to bad that modern religons seem to have forgotten them.

I thought it was interesting that they persectuted the Christians for not believing in the Roman Gods because they saw it as opposition of Roman Rule.
