The stories of the Trojan War interest me. These stories seem fictional but historians are finding out that some are based on real cities and people. I like this type of reading.

Thees stories really interest me, because they are like the stories we might listen today in like a novel or a fictional story. But what were reading is real history!

The Boston marathon and also the 26-mile race run during the summer olympics were inspired by Pheidippides running from Marathon to Athens (26 miles) to tell the people of Athens that they had won the battle and then he died.

I never knew that they seperated the boys and girls back than. Only boys of wealthy families attended school and the girls stayed home to learn about being good wives and mothers.
